Dear Members:
The auspicious Parama Ekaadasi is the ekaadasi that is observed in the krishna paksha of the adhika maasa (lunar leap month - also called Purushottama maasa) that comes once in 2 to 3 years' interval.
Schedule for observance of Parama Ekaadasi for different places in the globe:
It is to be observed on June 11, 2026 throughout the world with the following exceptions:
Those living in Japan, New Zealand, countries of the Oceania region (like Papua New Guinea), and those living in regions coming under the Eastern timezone of Australia (like Sydney) and observing Shri Vaishnava traditions must observe this on June 12, 2026. Even in these places, those observing Smaartha traditions may observe the vrata on June 11th.
Significance of Parama Ekaadasi:
Observance of this Parama Ekaadasi helps in ensuring peace to deceased ancestors in the family, freedom from cycle of birth/ death and reaching Vaikunta (Divine Abode), and for neutralizing karmic energies that prevent one's prosperity in this life.
May our readers observe this fast to the best of their abilities and become recipients of Divine Grace.
Blessed be.
