Dear All:
We had the good fortune to organize a very grand homam today on the occasion of Ganesha Chaturthi. Did not invite sponsorship from any of our members since I funded it out of my own resources (whenever I fund austerities with my own resources, I pray for everyone so that those who cannot afford to sponsor homams like these in spite of a genuine need for such performances can also benefit out of these.). It was a major austerity performed with recitation of powerful and rare mantras on Lord Vinaayaka - beginning from Brahma Muhurtha (the preliminaries of the homam) and ending at 2 p.m. - at a stretch accompanied by offering of lot of auspicious homam articles and dried coconut offerings (copra). Prayers were raised for Universal Welfare in general, and welfare of Paaraayanam group members in particular.
