Can I calculate the timings in IST (Indian Standard Time) and directly convert them to Middle East time and do the punya kalam poojas ?

3) What are some other rituals and poojas that we can do to please lord Vishnu ?

4) Are lord Vishnu and lord Maha Vishnu the same? Is not, then what are the differences ?

5) Among Purusha Suktam and Sri Suktam which prayer is really powerful to do on Vishnupati day ?
Thanks once again. Looking for an early reply.rekha.allworkshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07750333183981503714noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-383513136305210081.post-24055745739659978812009-11-17T22:42:26.730+05:302009-11-17T22:42:26.730+05:30Dear Member"..."

But, shastras do indicate that Ekaadashi fast is a "mandatory" fast for human beings, and it is definitely auspicious to observe this.

You have asked about "is it okay to fast on ekaadashi if you worship shiv-ling"...yes, you can; in fact, I am a person who is tied by a Holy Vow to do shiva pooja till my last breath, and I do observe ekaadashi vratam.

In fact, you can fast on ekaadashi and recite Shiva naamaas...there is no objection to it! The Great Shiva Sahasranaama in Mahabhaarata had its origin in Lord Vishnu's devotion!

Similarly, Vaishnavites can observe Pradosha vrata and worship Lord Narasimha!

Blessed be.
Pandit R.
